When I host brunch parties, I like to incorporate the many delicious foods that are always at the peak of season. During summer, I often make a large bowlful of quinoa salad topped with a scoop of homemade ricotta, a big scoop of blueberry pancakes, and a scoop of blueberry tart with honey and fresh berries. The simple, warm bread basket is a wonderful accompaniment to the salad, and it also helps keep the food from burning.
The most important element of a brunch party is your personal feelings. Many people don’t care what happens to the food, but they want to impress upon you the things they like about it.
The reason I make quinoa salad is because I like to eat organic ingredients, so I have a salad recipe that I usually make. Now that I have your attention I’m not sure if I should go into any more detail about the brunch party idea, but I have to say that I’m really excited about hosting a brunch party. It’s actually a bit like an all-day event with a few extra things to do and a few extra guests in attendance, but what I find so exciting is that the planning for it is done online.
It’s not that I’m too upset about this. Its a pretty weird idea that I think is just stupid and I really appreciate it. If you want to do it solo, you can at least try it with a little bit of help. Its very easy to do and its fun and easy to see what you are making.
The reason Im not excited about hosting a brunch party, I think, is because Im not really excited about the idea. Its because I am not sure I want to go back to it again. I’m not sure if I want to go back to it again or do something else. Like any social gathering, brunch parties are a little bit of a time-crunch. There are only so many hours in the day. If you want to host a brunch party, you have to either make it a time-waster or you have to make it an event that is good for you and good for the people who are attending.
