This is another area where Java is a no-brainer. A virtual file is just a file that is not an actual file. It’s just the data that is packed within a JAR file. The reason I don’t want to use virtual data is because I don’t want to be the only one who wants to be the only one.
There are some serious issues with virtual data in Android. You can’t download the file, but you can download files from other websites and do some basic data analysis. You can also download the files and download the data from other sites. There are other problems, however, that I don’t know of. There are some serious issues with virtual data in iOS. My favorite concerns are that apps have very limited data to download on, and only one app can download it.
But as far as I know there are no similar issues in Java programming in general.
