I love the idea that there are three levels of self-awareness. The first level is the kind of awareness you have when you’re sitting in front of the computer, for example. The second level is when you’re doing something on your phone or iPod. The third level is when you’re reading a book or watching a TV show. So, I think that all of the media we consume at the expense of our own awareness is a bit much.
Maybe this is the way the world should work. Most of our actions, thoughts, and choices are on autopilot. We need to be aware of ourselves, and that means being aware of the effect these choices and actions are having on our lives.
I think this is a really good point. Many times we take for granted that we are “on autopilot” when we are so engaged with the immediate task that we hardly notice that we are actually on autopilot. But that’s not true. We are on autopilot when we’re doing the things that make us feel like we’re on autopilot.
There are two types of autopilot: short-term autopilot and long-term autopilot. The short term is when we feel like we are so immersed in our tasks that our minds just skip around and go with the flow. The long term is when we feel like we are taking a break from our tasks, but are not.
The first, short-term, type of autopilot is called the subconscious mind and it is one of the most important autopilot functions. It provides a quick shortcut to the conscious mind. This is what we call “mind-freezing.” It comes in handy during stressful situations when you are going to be interrupted. But it doesn’t last. So to be safe, we avoid the subconscious mind.
The subconscious is a much smaller part of our brain than the conscious. It is called the subcortical area. It is made up of cells called thalamus and hippocampus. These cells are involved in the processing of memories and emotions. The thalamus is responsible for the integration of disparate information and processing many different sources of information at once. The hippocampus is responsible for processing the incoming information and stores it for later use.
The subconscious mind is a very small part of the overall human brain. It’s located in the subcortex.
The subcortex is basically the area in the middle of the brain that makes up the human brain. It’s where everything else is located. It’s where you have the reptilian brain, the neocortex, and the limbic system. It’s also where you have the frontal lobe, the parietal lobe and the temporal lobe. It’s also where you have the frontal, the temporal and the occipital lobes.
Basically, the subcortex is the brain of the person on the edge. If your brain is running a little bit too hot, it can slow down your thinking, judgment, creativity, and attention span. It can make your cognitive abilities that much worse.
That’s why we’re calling it “ps lightweight time sensitive material.” This is something that is really just a subcortex-specific piece of neural circuitry that has been optimized for very limited power usage. It has a very fast energy absorption rate that makes it extremely efficient. At the same time, it has a low energy consumption rate. For example, the average computer has a power consumption rate of about 5 watts.
