Many of the top banks have joined the Linux Foundation and today are taking their oath to protect Linux and open source.
The Linux Foundation is the umbrella organization for nearly 100 banks that are trying to preserve the open source software they use. They offer a few of their own programs, like Fedora, and are working on open source applications that will make banking more accessible for their customers. It’s a great group of people and it is a great thing that Linux enthusiasts are taking an oath to protect.
What great things can open source software do with banking? The Linux Foundation’s mission is to offer a “secure, efficient, and affordable” alternative to banking, and that means providing tools that let small businesses, developers, and other folks who don’t have a lot of money use open source software. That’s pretty awesome! But if you don’t have a lot of money it’s pretty easy to just use the proprietary version of the software you want, especially if you’re an investor.
So, the Linux Foundations is one of the most active, active groups in the world right now. So it makes sense that they would join the Linux Patent group, and we applaud them for that. To get a clear picture of what we mean by this, here is a list of some of the main features of the group and the projects they represent.
a) The Linux Foundations is the Linux Software Patents Association.
the Linux Foundations is a non-profit organization that does not represent the interests of its members. The Linux Foundation is a non-profit organization that is the source of much of the open source software used in the world. The Linux Foundation is a good example of how to use the term “Linux” to describe a group of people who are committed to preserving the open source software that they are using.
The Linux Foundations is a wonderful organization and it’s great to see them represented in their new logo. The logo is designed by Ben Kothe, the creator of the original logo for Google’s Android. The logo is a good example of the many things that a group can do to “represent” itself.
The Linux Foundations logo was designed to represent the different members of the group. The color scheme of the logo is very bold, yet subtle. As a result, the logo can be read as easily as a single word. It’s also a very easy way to show that they share a common goal; they all want to keep the open source code that they use so they can share it with others.
The group is also very important because Linux is, by its very nature, a software distribution. And as such, it has a large amount of code that is open source. If the Linux Foundations was to join this group, they would have a lot of power to change the Linux code to suit their needs.
You can’t really do anything about this, but the Linux Foundations are a great example of how open source codes can be modified to suit the needs of a particular organization.
